He had shot des balls. One at her and another at the transparent stone Ninja homing in on her from above as she fell back-first towards the earth. The Ninja sped on towards her, arms tense with bulging muscles, body streamlined for maximum speed, the malice so strong in his silver eyes it shone with a light of its own. The light of the approaching des ball caught his eyes at an angle, and he turned in reaction to the approaching attack.

He had time to turn and see.
